Beta Free & open source for iPhone and iPad

Social media,
minus the scroll.

Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook in one calm app. Keep your messages and the people you follow. Lose Reels, Shorts, Explore, and the feeds built to keep you there.

No accounts. No server. No tracking.

What changes

Check in. Then get on with your day.

Quitting social media outright rarely sticks — your friends, groups, and group chats live there. Asocial takes out the parts engineered to hold your attention and leaves the parts you came for.

Taken out

  • Short-form video feeds — Reels and Shorts, with no swipe to the next one
  • Recommended feeds — Explore, YouTube Home, Up next, end screens
  • Suggested posts from accounts you never followed
  • Ads and sponsored posts, and video ads skipped on start
  • Video and shopping tabs on Facebook

Kept

  • Messages — your DMs and conversations, all of them
  • Posts from people you follow, and their Stories
  • What friends send you — that one reel or video still plays
  • Profiles, groups, and search when you go looking
  • Posting and sharing, photos and video included
Three sites, one calm app

Every filter, your call.

Every filter starts on. Want Explore back? One toggle in Settings.

Instagram

Opens to your feed; the Reels feed sends you to your inbox instead.

YouTube

Opens to Subscriptions; a Short opens as a regular video.

How it works

The real sites, with the hooks removed.

Real web apps

Each tab is the site's own mobile web app, signed in like Safari. Nothing is proxied or rebuilt.

Redirected routes

Paths built for endless scrolling go somewhere calmer — /shorts/… becomes /watch?v=…, even inside the site's own navigation.

Hidden by design

Shelves, tabs, and posts labelled “Sponsored” or “Suggested” are hidden before you see them.

Privacy

Your attention is yours. So is your data.

Asocial has no server and collects nothing. Your sign-ins stay in the system web view on your device, and one button signs you out of everything. The whole app is open source, so you don't have to take our word for it.
